RGJ reported that 61 illegal aliens were arrested in Nevada this week in raids conducted by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and 25 of the illegals were in the city of Reno. Of the Nevada total, 55 of them had criminal histories including convictions for sex crimes, drug offenses and domestic violence.
18 of the arrested illegal aliens had been convicted of driving under the influence, and 8 had been convicted of drug offenses while 7 had been convicted of fraud or identity theft.
One illegal alien from El Salvador had been convicted of assault, battery, drug possession and spousal battery. Here’s a full look of at the criminal histories of the illegal aliens arrested in Nevada this week:

“ERO (ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations) officers here in Nevada and around the country are focused first and foremost on using this agency’s unique tools and authorities to help keep our communities safe,” Nikita Curry, assistant field office director in Nevada, said in a statement. “Our enforcement efforts last week are representative of the work we’ve been doing and will continue to do.”
The five day operation came to an end last Friday, and it was led by the ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations.
“Those persons will be evaluated on a case by case basis and, when appropriate, arrested by ICE,” officials said in the news release.
