Anti-Donald Trump protesters spent the last few months holding a massive protest in North Dakota against the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL). The liberal protesters claimed that they were doing this to save the environment, but what was spotted at the now-abandoned campsite showed they never cared about the environment at all.
Breitbart reported that the Army Corps of Engineers was forced to launch a $1.1 million cleanup operation of the Sacred Stone campsite to clear all the garbage that was left by the protesters. The operation was completed last Thursday after sanitation crews removed 835 dumpsters full of trash left behind by people who opposed the pipeline.
Army Corps Capt. Ryan Hignight told reporters that a total of 8,170 cubic yards was removed from the Sacred Stone, Oceti Sakowin, and Rosebud campsites.
“In total, there were 835 roll-off dumpsters of trash and debris removed from the three camps together,” Hignight said in an email.
Shockingly, many animals were also found abandoned on the site. Luckily, a local animal shelter took in the 12 dogs who were found there.
“We are happy to report that all animals have been accounted for throughout the Dakota Access Pipeline protest sites,” Furry Friends Rockin’ Rescue of Bismarck-Mandan said in a statement on its website. “The dogs will be vetted — vaccinated, examined, dewormed, and bathed — prior to being posted for adoption.”
This shows once again that liberal protesters are just hypocrites who care more about stirring up trouble than about the environment. SHARE this story so we can spread the TRUTH about anti-Trump protesters!
