Americans everywhere are praying for former President George H.W. Bush this week after he was rushed to the hospital with pneumonia symptoms.
“President George H. W. Bush was admitted to Houston Methodist Hospital on Friday for observation due to a persistent cough that prevented him from getting proper rest,” said Jim McGrath, Bush’s spokesman, according to Western Journalism.

“It was subsequently determined he had a mild case of pneumonia, which was treated and has been resolved,” he added. “President Bush is in very good spirits and is being held for further observation while he regains his strength.”
“He is OK, he is going to be great,” McGrath added.
Twitter users have been sending in prayers for Bush since the announcement was made.

Both former President Bush and his wife Barbara were hospitalized back in January, forcing them to miss Donald Trump’s inauguration.
“Barbara and I are so sorry we can’t be there for you inauguration on January 20th,” the note began. “My doctor says if I sit outside in January, it will likely put me six feet under,” Bush said in the letter. “Same for Barbara. So I guess we’re stuck in Texas.”
“I want you to know that I wish you the very best as you begin this incredible journey of leading our great country. If I can ever be of help, please let me know,” Bush wrote.
Please keep George H.W. Bush in your thoughts and prayers!
